October 27-28, 2014: Chosen by the Katie School to be their “Risk Manager in Residence” via the Spencer Educational Foundation, I served as guest lecturer in two sessions of three courses: “Introduction to Risk Management and Insurance”, “Property Insurance”, and their Capstone “Risk Management” course. I also offered the captioned presentation to approximately 80 students and faculty at an evening gathering. In this presentation I shared some of the situations I have encountered during my career and encouraged the students to consider risk management and insurance as a viable career path for themselves.

February 7, 2013: Assembled and facilitated panel discussion. Panelists from various disciplines discussed claims management strategies from their perspective (broker, claims supervisor, corporate risk manager, attorney). Audience included approximately 60 risk management professionals.
Also facilitated the meeting agenda for the day.

September 19, 2012: Motivational and educational speech discussing how we manage risks and measure our results at CEC. Offered practical tips on how to influence organizational culture to achieve stated objectives. Audience included approximately 250 claims professionals, attorneys, and risk management professionals.
