For today’s Throwback Thursday I go back just a few years to November 8, 2012 when I got the opportunity to meet, for the second time, General Tommy Franks. I first him in 2008, soon after he joined the Board of Directors of CEC Entertainment, where I was Director of Risk Management. It was a pleasure, although admittedly a tad intimidating, describing our risk management strategy to our newest (and very decorated) board member. General Franks is a true American hero and a fine man. I’m honored to have gotten to meet him – twice!

Throwback Thursday. This is my now 19 year old daughter held by her cousins Kendall & Bailey on November 10, 1996. Our son, Keith, wasn’t even born yet! The speed at which time passes never ceases to amaze me, as I still remember these girls looking just like they do in the picture. God has blessed me and my family with an abundance of beautiful memories. This is just one of many.

Throwback Thursday. I have friends that post #tbt pictures faithfully; I usually forget until Thursday has rolled into Friday. In my 2015 Photo-A-Day challenge, Thursday postings will have a #tbt flair, that is, if I remember! Since it is rodeo season in Cowtown, I offer this picture of my family, circa 2001, as we prepared to leave for an outing at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I remember that day vividly, as my wife and I enjoyed giving our kids a taste of Texas’ cowboy heritage. Great memories, indeed!
